Committee Reports

1.     Finance bank balance 9136.78 $24,000+ in donations.  $34,464.14

a.     Separate account for mural

2.     Tent air conditioning is still being developed.  Initial Cost are High

3.     Fundraising: Get the fundraising letters delivered by next meeting.

4.     Alumni: Need 4 classes

5.     Book Committee: Deadline extended to end of December for all books and history.

6.     Merchandising: Have recouped 70% of costs of the shirt.

a.     Mugs will be purchased at 7.50 quantity 50.  $399 Motion by Roger second by Sue.

b.    Calendars have been lowered to $5 400 are left

10.  Citizens Award Reception

b.    Tickets $35 (400 Max) 4 max per person

                                          i.    Tickets on Sale December 31 on the website Farmer’s Bank, Downing, Vintage 1, Salt Creek Attic, and on a phone line from the museum

                                         ii.    Citizen Award- lived and enhanced Mt Pulaski

                                        iii.    Alumni Award- graduated from here and accomplished great things anywhere.

 

11.  Old Settlers Tour

a.     Friday July 1 9 am

b.    Saturday July 2 11 am and 3 pm

12.  Ag Tours:

a.     July 1 1:00

b.    July 2 9pm and 1pm

13.  Awards – Bronzer is ready to begin

14.  New Years Eve:

a.     Courthouse will be open for tours and will have refreshments.

b.    Museum will have snacks and piano music

c.     Businesses will be open 6-10.  Buff’s, Pizza Man will be open.

d.    FB will stay open, will have a drawing for $175 must be present at 11:30. Will have refreshment

e.     Soup and Chili dinner at VFW 5- 8pm Free will offering

f.     $5 coupons for use on the square to first 100 family’s. Users are then entered into a drawing for $50/or redbook

g.    Fireworks at 6:30 and 12:00

h.     Children’s night at FLC.  Games, snacks, music 7-11:30 (6-12th grade) Zion Lutheren will have activities 7-9 pm (under 5th grade) at the old firehouse.

i.      11:30 Memorial Service.  Names of those lost this year and bell ringing

j.      Ball Drop at midnight.

k.     Children’s Scavenger Hunt of history. Due by 7pm $175 gift w/ school flyer
