Most recently Kent was hand picked by Merrill Osmond to appear at his new theater in Branson, Mo., the live entertainment capitol of America. In fact Kent is the only hypnotist ever to appear “on the strip” in Branson.

They have been performing for almost 20 years and currently have been performing montly at Turasky’s in
Dawson. Original members Tom Romer - trumpet and Derek Phillips - trombone.  Other members include David Helm - trumpet/vocals, Don Helm - trombone, Merril Turner - sax, Harold Drake - Tuba, and Ed Williamson - drums.

The Mt. Pulaski Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Birthday Committee
will proudly
present a reenactment and historical reading of an actual trial in the historic Mt. Pulaski courthouse courtroom, where Abraham Lincoln tried the “Cast Iron Tombstone Trial” in 1855.  Lincoln, the young, beardless attorney, rode the 8th Judicial Circuit of 450 miles from 1849-1855.  He often boarded at the Pulaski House when he was on the 8th Circuit in Mt. Pulaski.  The cast will appear in period costume. The jury members will be pulled from the audience.
