Landmarks Illinois, which calls itself the state’s leading voice for historic preservation, has issued the following facts sheet listing what it perceives as the impact of Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s budget cuts to the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency’s 2009 budget.

On Feb. 17, 2009, U.S. television stations will switch from analog to digital format.
For those who own TVs that can receive a digital signal, that won’t matter a bit. But for about 70 million people across the U.S. who have an analog-only television, it could mean their TVs will become practically useless.
