Kristie Anderson
Elkhart
Nineteen years old;
daughter of Elise and Jeff;
graduate of Mount Pulaski High School
Kristie attended Illinois Central College in
East Peoria and is now enrolled at Robert
Morris College in Springfield, IL majoring
in medical assisting and playing softball.
Kristie’s Special Honors include: member of
the ICC volleyball team which placed 5th at
the national tournament and she was named to
the academic all American team, named to the
All tournament team at the Lee College
Tournament in Texas, 3 year state runner up
in volleyball, Courier all area team in
volleyball, Captain of cheerleading squad
her senior year, State journal register all
area team in softball her senior year;
National Cheerleading association All
American cheerleader, and Algebra 2 student
of the year her sophomore year.
Jordan Gallagher
Lincoln
Eighteen years old;
daughter of Tom and Amy;
graduate of Lincoln Community High School
Jordan plans to attend Lincoln College this
fall, complete an Associate’s degree, and
then transfer to a University to major in
fashion.
Jordan’s special honors include the National
Honor Society, high honor student, Who’s Who
among American High Schools, Pep club
scholarship recipient, and captain of the
cheerleading squad.
Jessica Lindgren
Atlanta
Nineteen years old;
daughter of James and Diane;
graduate of Olympia High School
Jessica
currently attends the University of Illinois
in Champaign Urbana and will be graduating
with a degree in Agri-Finance in the College
of Consumer and Environmental Sciences in
May 2009. She is also pursing a minor in
Business Administration. Upon completion,
she hopes to either continue working for
State Farm as a licensed insurance agent or
become involved in Investment Banking by
helping companies and governments issue
securities.
Jessica’s special honors include: Senior
Beef Showman of the Year 2006, Logan County
Master Showmanship Award 2006, Pantagraph
Scholar Athlete Award 2005, Nikki Hutchcraft
Girl Athlete Scholarship 2005, Three-Sport
Varsity Athlete Letter Winner 2004 & 2005,
President's Academic Award, the Dean's List,
Lincoln Kiwanis Outstanding 4-H’er, Logan
County 4-H foundation Scholarship (twice),
the Earl Busse Memorial Scholarship with
American Gelbvieh Association, and the
American Gelbvieh Junior Association
Scholarship.

Kristin Miller
Elkhart
Eighteen years old;
daughter of Mike and Sue;
graduate of Mount Pulaski High School
Kristin will be
attending Illinois College in Jacksonville
this fall where she will be studying
Chemistry. With this degree she plans to
either get her master’s degree in Chemistry
and become a Forensic Scientist or go to Law
School and study to become a Criminal
Prosecutor.
Kristin graduated 6th
in her class and was awarded the Director’s
Award for Band. She was a four year member
of the Honor Roll. She has been awarded the
Jonathan Baldwin Turner Scholarship from
Illinois College and was also awarded the
Lester Werntz Scholarship, and a Crime
Stopper Scholarship.
Ali Robinson
Lincoln
Twenty years old;
daughter of Steve and Barb;
graduate of Lincoln Community High School
Ali is currently enrolled in her junior year
at Southeast Missouri State University and
is an exercise science major with a
concentration in pre-physical therapy and a
minor in business administration. After
graduation she plans to attend a graduate
school and obtain a doctorate of physical
therapy. As a physical therapist she would
love to work with children or athletes, and
someday own a rehabilitation clinic of her
own.
Ali’s special honors include: Social Chair
of the Phi Mu chapter of Delta Delta Delta,
the Regional Achievement Award Scholarship
and the Foundation Leadership Award
Scholarship from Southeast Missouri State,
the Principal’s Leadership Award, the Rotary
Student Government Award, ‘Who’s Who Among
American High School Students’ all four
years, and recipient of Illinois Elks
Crippled Children’s Corporation Scholarship
for Physical Therapy.
Amber Turner
Chestnut
Twenty-one years old;
daughter of Mike and Suzie Maxheimer &
Scott Turner
graduate of Mount Pulaski High School
Amber plans to obtain Bachelor degrees
in Psychology and Speech Communication,
with an emphasis in Public Relations in
May 2009 from Southern Illinois
University at Edwardsville. She’ll
continue earning a Masters degree in
Speech Communication and Business
Administration also from SIUE. She
aspires to become a Public Relations
Advisor for a Fortune 500 Company or a
non-profit organization.

SIUE Deans List, 2005 & 2006 Miss
Congeniality of the Logan County Fair
Queen Pageant, honor roll recipient,
citizenship award winner and the 2004-05
Mt. Pulaski High School Senior
Homecoming Queen.
