THANK YOU TRAM WORKERS !

As tram coordinators, we would like to thank everyone and every organization for making the tram project at the 2007 Illinois State Fair a safe and successful one. Although our receipts for this year were considerably less than previous years, (due to the extreme heat), we still ended with a successful run. This couldn't have been accomplished without all of our great volunteers. The word went out prior to the fair that we were in desperate need of manpower and once again people in our communities answered that call. As usual, our school community takes volunteerism to a different level. That is a tribute to the people in all of our communities that is unequaled almost everywhere else.

Next year we will be trying some different ideas to involve new volunteers and to help ease the countless hours some have put toward this project. We especially want to mention the effort put into this project by all of our supervisors, Kelly Elias, Chris Clementz, Kevin Knauer, Nubs Gieseke, Scott Doerr, and Deron Powell, people behind the scenes, Julie Stoll, Sally Litterly and Mike Toohey and the heads of each group that supplies the manpower. We would also like to thank Cross Brothers Inc. for their timeless efforts put into the tractors, Ag-Land F/S for their help in getting the fuel to the fair and the fuel tank and to the Illinois Soybean Association for donating all of our fuel again this year! Again to everyone that helped in any way..........THANK YOU!
