The tour from Springfield stopped in Mt. Pulaski to discover more about Abraham Lincoln and his younger
years.  Made up of many retired teachers, the visitors were from many different states, all the way from Oregon
and California to Virginia and Louisiana.  There were especially awed by our historical museum, where they
asked a lot of questions about the various exhibits.  They especially enjoyed sitting in the courtroom and
 listening to two presentations:
typical law procedures in and around the Mt. Pulaski in the mid-1800's
Abraham Lincoln's role as a circuit court lawyer in and around Mt. Pulaski from 1849 to 1853.
