types are needed on a regular basis," said David Parsons,
chief executive officer of Central Illinois Community Blood
Center. "However, two of the most seriously injured are O
types, and their usage is ongoing. Because the O types are the
most commonly used, this puts the general supply of O at
risk."
Central
Illinois Community Blood Center will team up with Immanuel
Lutheran Church at the Logan County Paramedic Association
building on Monday, May 3, from noon until 6 p.m. to help save
lives in central Illinois.
