Mildred Broughton

MOUNT
PULASKI -- Mildred Frances Broughton, 86, died
Thursday, May 29, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. at
Vonderlieth Living Center.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski. |

Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Mount
Pulaski, with the Rev. John Pham officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.
Mrs. Broughton was a homemaker and a
secretary at the Mount Pulaski Grade School.
She was born Sept. 4, 1921, in Lincoln to
Andrew and Frances Adame Krusz. She married
Leigh Broughton in Lincoln on May 23, 1942. He
preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 1998.
She is survived by four daughters, Starr (and
Don) Frederick of Sandwich, Dawn Broughton (and
Danny Hood) of Springfield, Lisa (and Norman)
Helton of Dubuque, Iowa, and Robin (and Scott)
Neely of Pfafftown, N.C.; six grandchildren; and
eight great-grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas
Catholic Church, the Altar-Rosary Society of the
church and the American Business Women's
Association. |
She was also preceded in death by one son and
one daughter.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's
Foundation or American Heart Association.
