Elmer “Butch” Durchholz
Elmer “Butch” Durchholz of Mt. Pulaski passed away 7:39 a.m., July 19, 2008 at his home.
He retired from farming.
Private services will be held at a later date with Bill Shanle officiating. Interment will be at Steenbergen Cemetery.
Visitation will be for family only.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
He was born December 8, 1919 in Mt. Pulaski the son of Henry J. and Pinkie P. Ayers Durchholz. He married Marilyn Marie Buckles December 29, 1942 in Bowling Green, MO.
He is survived by one son: Dale Durchholz of Bloomington; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was the last of his immediate family.
He was preceded in death by his wife (Marilyn) one son (Richard), one sister (Lorena).
He was a veteran.
He was a member of Buffalo Christian Church and past commander of Mt. Pulaski American Legion Post #447.
