Harold
E. Fulscher, 80, of Lincoln, died Thursday,
March 20, 2008, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Holland
Barry and Bennett Funeral Home. His funeral will
be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with
Ryan Edgecombe officiating. |

Burial will follow in Lucas Chapel Cemetery,
Lincoln.
Mr. Fulscher was the owner and operator of
Harold's Auto Body, past owner of Lincoln Truck
and Auto and Yellow and Lincoln Cab, and was the
auto body instructor at Logan Correctional
Center.
He proudly served his country in the U.S.
Army.
He was born June 14, 1927, in Lincoln to
Forrest and Oda Bates Fulscher. He married Donna
Sheley on July 3, 1949, and she preceded him in
death on Aug. 28, 1995.
He is survived by his son, Dan (and Fran)
Fulscher of Lincoln; his daughter, Cindy (and
Ed) Mayfield of Mount Pulaski; grandchildren
Steve (and Robin) Mayfield of Clinton and Angela
(and Brett) Miller of Williamsville;
stepgrandchildren Jason Glenn of Lincoln and
Ronnie (and Tiffanie) Glenn of Lincoln;
great-grandchildren Brianna and Courtney
Mayfield and Reagan Miller;
step-great-grandchildren Abbie Glenn and Colby
Glenn; and two sisters, Vivian (and Robert)
Hauter of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Hazel Weaver of
Rogers, Ark.
He was also preceded in death by two
brothers. |
He was a member of Lincoln Christian Church,
American Legion Post 263, Lincoln Eagles Lodge
and president of the Auto Truck Recyclers. He
served for 14 years on the Lincoln City Council.
Memorial donations may be made to Lincoln
Rural Fire Department or Lincoln Paramedic
Association and will be accepted at the funeral
home.
