LE SUEUR, Minn. - Geraldine Wimda
Zimmermann, 91, of Le Sueur,
formerly of Mount Pulaski, passed
away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at
Gardenview Nursing Home in Le Sueur.
She was born Dec. 10, 1916, in
Golden to Harry and Margaret (Tholen)
Wible, the first of two daughters.
She graduated from Mount Pulaski
High School in 1935 and from
MacMurray College in 1939. She
married Theodore Frederick
Zimmermann on Aug. 15, 1942, at
Walla Walla Air Base Chapel in Walla
Walla, Wash.
She worked for the Central
Illinois Electric and Gas Co. in
Mount Pulaski and was the first
president of the Mount Pulaski
Junior Woman's Club that formed Nov.
27, 1934. She worked with her
husband in his various businesses
until he retired. She loved to
travel. She was a member of St.
John's Lutheran Church in Mount
Pulaski.
She is survived by her son, Gary
Zimmermann of Miami; a daughter, Ann
(Tom) Gupton III of Le Sueur; a
sister, Jean Martin of Mount
Pulaski; four grandchildren; and six
great-grandchildren.
She is

She is preceded in death by her
