Ms. Ballew was a homemaker and former employee
at Stetson China.
She was born Feb. 22, 1928, in Mount Pulaski
to Carl and Maude Day Abel.
She is survived by one son, James Ballew of
Sims; one daughter, Jan Ballew; four
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was the last of her immediate family and
was preceded in death by two brothers and three
sisters.
She was a graduate of Mount Pulaski High
School.
