Burial will be in Lake Bank Cemetery, rural
Mount Pulaski.
Mr. Garvey was a retired educator.
He was born Aug. 29, 1936, in Mount Pulaski.
His parents were Kent and Helen Gasaway Garvey.
He married Phyllis Koets on Aug. 7, 1965. She
survives.
He is also survived by one son, Brian T.
Garvey of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his
brother Willard, an infant brother and one son,
Kevin.
Memorials may be made to the National
Alliance for the Mentally Ill or to the donor's
choice.
