DECATUR
-- Donna Maurine Sharp, 73, of Decatur, died
Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at 1:22 p.m. at Carle
Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday
at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Hofer
officiating. |

Burial will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery,
Decatur.
Mrs. Sharp was a factory worker for Decatur
Electronics.
She was born July 3, 1937, in Mount Pulaski.
Her parents were Nelson and Edna Bohn Rogers.
She married Franklin Sharp on Feb. 16, 1974, in
Decatur.
She is survived by her husband, of Decatur;
her children, Pamela McCullough (and Adrian
Fowler) of Pocatello, Idaho, George T. (and
Stephanie) Taylor of Decatur, Franklin D. (and
Ruth) Taylor of Decatur, Debra L. (and Gary)
Pyles of Decatur, Kelly L. (and Marty) McGill of
Katy, Texas, Michael E. (and Michelle) Taylor of
Maroa, Linda K. Taylor (and Monte Jones) of
Springfield, Barbara G. (and Wayne) Brown III of
Mount Zion and Steven L. Sharp (and Michael
Suarez) of Schaumburg; one sister, Shirley (and
Lowell) Molt of Mount Pulaski; 29 grandchildren;
and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and
one brother, George Rogers. |
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran
Church in Mount Pulaski.
