HEYWORTH -- William Edward "Ed" Hale Jr., 38, of Shepherdsville, Ky., formerly of Heyworth, passed away May 10, 2005, from severe head injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Ed is survived by a son, Justin; four sisters, twin Donna Koehler of Mount Pulaski; Beth Hale of Battletown, Ky.; Alyce Ellison of Redlands, Calif.; and Arden Wiltshire of Yucca Valley, Calif.; and his parents, Ann and Bill Hale of Shepherdsville, Ky.

Ed graduated from Heyworth High School in 1985 and attended Southern Illinois University and University of Louisville. Ed was employed by Whitecap Construction Supply in Louisville, Ky., and he was a member of the Okolona Christian Church.

In lieu of a funeral service, there will be a gathering to celebrate Ed's life at 2 p.m. June 18 at 3180 Knobcreek Road, Shepherdsville, Ky. Please contact family members for more information.
