WELCOME

to Zion, a group of Christians organized since 1851 to bring the Good News of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who can take care of all our needs.

WHO WE ARE

Zion Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, a world-wide church and one of the largest Lutheran bodies in America. We help to sponsor THE LUTHERAN HOUR and WOMAN TO WOMAN on radio.  You can find information about the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod on the internet at www.lcms.org and also www.lhm.org.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

THE BIBLE is God's Word to man -- inspired and inerrant -- the final authority for our faith and life.

GOD         loves you and has a definite plan for your life.

MAN        because of sin, has separated himself from God and needs God's help.

JESUS     is our Savior, offered by God as man's only way back to God.

YOU         We believe that God sincerely wants you to receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord, that you might enjoy his blessings now and forever.

OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

Zion sponsors a CHRISTIAN DAY SCHOOL for Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, with four multi-grade classrooms.    Zion also sponsors a PRESCHOOL with classes for 2 year-olds, 3 year-olds, 4 year-olds and 5 year-olds.  For more information on either our Preschool or Christian Day School, please contact our Head Teacher, Kathy Maske, at the school office (792-5715).

For children in grades 6th through 8th who are not enrolled in the Lutheran Day School, we offer religious instruction on Wednesday evenings, beginning at 5:30 p.m.  The purpose for this instruction is to prepare them for Confirmation and communicant membership.
