The city of Mount Pulaski
needs a family-practice physician. The retirement
and relocation of our town's two physicians during the past four years has left
our
community without a practicing physician - probably for the first time in our
long
history since the mid-1800's (founded in 1836). While we have two
dentists
and a pharmacy, we are suddenly without a physician. A young doctor
and his
or her budding family would love our safe little community which
boasts of
its excellent schools, churches, nursing home, quaint shops, and annual
events,
much of which is centered around our famous town square and our
Illinois State
Historic Courthouse - County Seat during much of Abraham Lincoln's 8th
Judicial Circuit law practice. We are located 10 miles south of
Lincoln and within 22 miles of Decatur and Springfield in the midst
of the most fertile farm land in all of USA.
