NOTICE
August 26th, 2005

The City of Mt. Pulaski's street resurfacing project scheduled to begin at the end of August will not begin until September 19th, 2005.  The contractor was having delays getting started, and we have asked him to wait until after the Fall Festival to begin work in Mt. Pulaski. We anticipate work will begin the week of September 19th.

Again we ask for your cooperation in removing vehicles from the streets in the areas being worked on beginning September 19th.  The streets WILL NOT be completely shut down.  You will have access to your driveways and can pass through the street, but may experience some delays.  We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience.

The contractor will mill off the top layer of the streets and then resurface with a new asphalt surface.  The following areas will be worked on:

1.  Vine Street from Chestnut Street south to McDonald     Street
2.  Spring Street from Green St. south to the city limits
3.  A portion of McDonald Street at Washington Street

Thanks for your cooperation.
