The
Mount Pulaski Public Library is running their annual
"Summer Reading Program" again this summer. "Scare Up a
Book" and "Get Fired Up" are their slogans this summer.

There is a visiting presenter to delight the kids at
10:30 each Tuesday morning in the town's library on
North Washington Street. Yesterday, the presentation was
by Neil Beard and his assistant, Catherine
Spannagel,
who brought some animals from the Decatur Scovill Zoo,
including a toad, guinea pig, snake, rabbit, turtle,
bird, lizard and even a huge and very active cockroach
from the island of Madagascar.
The summer reading and visiting presenter coordinator is
Mrs. Lynn Lakin, and the library director is Mrs.
Marilyn Howe
